Using Your Book as Your Business Card

You are at a business networking event and instead of simply handing you a business card, the person with whom you are speaking hands you a copy of their latest book, with their business card as a book-mark!

Books are no longer just books…

For professionals and entrepreneurs, books are branding devices, credibility-builders and a means to increasing consulting and speaking fees.

Not only that, but those who have done so, have taken the next step and set themselves apart from their competition.

Imagine you need to see a Chiropractor.  Would you rather go to a general Chiropractor – or one who had written a book on chiropractic methods?

Imagine you are a Conference Organizer looking for a Speaker for your next event.  I’m guessing you would rather choose a Speaker who had written a book!

Imagine you want to send a pitch to be on a talk-show.  While there is never a guarantee that they will even look at your pitch, Producers are more likely to consider someone who is a published author than someone who simply has a good idea to discuss.

…and in many cases, people even feel comfortable paying MORE to someone who has already shown their expertise by becoming an author.

Being a published author in and of itself lends great credibility to any writer, leader, or entrepreneur.

What you do with your new status as a published author is up to you – I had one client who was able to almost double their speaking fees after they self-published their book then did the work to have it achieve the rank of a best-seller on Amazon.

We are in a new age of business marketing and promotion where your book is now your business card.

If you’ve already written and published a book, consider how you could use that book more effectively to engage your audience and grow your business.

If you have yet to write and publish a book, consider the many benefits of doing just that.

Whichever road you choose, if we can be of assistance, please feel free to reach out.

With the marketplace becoming more and more saturated, it’s time to take the next step in solidifying your place as an expert in your field who commands the prices you deserve.
